Kevin Tew, CPRM
Member, MCBAP Board of Directors

“As a person in long-term recovery, it has become my passion to assist individuals in accomplishing their dreams and goals.”

Kevin Tew joined the MCBAP Board in 2024, bringing his passion and dedication to addiction recovery. As a Certified Peer Recovery Mentor (CPRM) and Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) with Mid-Michigan Recovery Services, Inc., Kevin’s work is driven by his own long-term recovery, which inspires his commitment to supporting others.

“As a person in long-term recovery, it has become my passion to assist individuals in accomplishing their dreams and goals,” Kevin says, reflecting his heartfelt dedication to making a difference.
Kevin’s advocacy extends beyond his professional role, as he actively participates in several community initiatives. He serves on the Eaton County Harm Reduction and Opioid Prevention subcommittees, the Substance Use Action Team, the HOLD: Treatment subcommittee, the Eaton County Substance Abuse Advisory Group (ECSAAG) Coalition, the Eaton County Opioid Fatality Review Group, and the Eaton County Treatment Court Team.

In addition to his work in recovery, Kevin has entrepreneurial experience as the former owner of Tew Home and Irrigation Services, LLC, where he developed strong skills in project management, problem-solving, and customer service.

Now, as a member of MCBAP, Kevin is eager to work collaboratively to create positive changes in the field of addiction treatment. His goal is to help break down the barriers individuals face in navigating the certification process and to contribute to policy development that promotes growth and success for substance use disorder treatment professionals.
