IC&RC Test Prep with MCBAP

Course Description

This International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) Test Prep with the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) session provides a clear, supportive overview of what candidates can expect when preparing for their credentialing exam. Participants will learn how IC&RC exams are developed, how to pre-register, the differences between remote and in-person testing, effective study strategies, and best practices for navigating the exam itself. The session also reviews IC&RC candidate guides, test content outlines, and tips for organizing a successful study plan.

Who Should Attend

This course is ideal for anyone preparing to take an IC&RC exam as part of the process of achieving their CADC, CAADC, CCS, CPS or CPRM. It is designed for individuals who have just started working toward the credential. Ideally, individuals will take this course 9 months-1 year prior to the time they plan to take the exam. However, we welcome participants at any point along the way. This session is also helpful for supervisors interested in supporting staff through the testing process.
