Phillip S. Millerov is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping people find their path to well-being. He began his career gaining valuable experience in residential treatment settings, both public and private, which provided a strong foundation for his work. Currently, he serves as an outpatient therapist with Transitions Counseling Services, where he is grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.
Phillip’s career is built on a foundation of service and leadership. As a fellow with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) Community Leadership Network, he has worked to promote equity and support positive change within communities. He also contributes to the field by serving as the Secretary for the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) and as the co-lead for the Credentialing Committee with its international affiliate, the IC&RC.
In his previous roles, Phillip had the privilege of serving as the Administrator of Anishinaabe Child and Family Services with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. He also helped to implement the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) grant through his work at Montcalm Community Mental Health. He is also previously a National trainer for the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA), sharing his knowledge of auricular acupuncture with a focus on helping others develop skills that improve their lives.
When he is not focused on his work, Phillip is a husband and father who enjoys traveling with his family. He finds that his personal commitment to well-being complements his professional efforts to support others.
